Associated with the MusiquePlus radio station for almost 10 years between 1993 and 2002, Dan cumulated roles of video jockey, special projects director and director of the DanseXpress tour. He mixes discs and also videos. His DanseXpress series, which features six volumes, was produced during that period. From 2001 to 2006, he was the official DJ of the Interbox galas at the Bell Center in Montreal.

Producer, director, sound engineer, mixer, remixer and disc designer, Dan founded his own label in 1999, DKD D-Noy Muzik under the banner of the Donald K. Donald group. In 2003, DKD D-Noy Muzik became simply D-Noy Muzik whose sole owner is now Dan Desnoyers.

In 2000 Dan created his Touchdown 2000 compilation for the Montreal Alouettes’ cheerleaders. He was, in the early 2000s, the host and DJ of the radio show Le Beat on the Énergie Station, which was broadcasted every Friday evening and listened to by over 1,700,000 people.

On June 15, 2004, he released Tandem which featured 30 house tracks on two separate discs, mixed by Dan and Antoine Clamaran. In July of 2004, Dan moved from Énergie radio station to CKOI 96.9 to host a show titled Spin. The PoweSpin compilation volumes 1 through 3 were released at about the same time. In 2005 Dan begins debuts a series titled Nightclub with volumes 1 through 3 having distinct vocal house flavors.

In August 2006 Dan returns to Énergie radio station and hosts the show Le Party 5 à 8 followed by Pur Dan Desnoyers in which he plays only the newest hits as well as requests from his listeners.

In May 2014 Dan signs with Ultra Records and mixes the Ultra Mix 6 compilation for the label.

After a brief stint at the Pacha Club in Ibiza, Pacha Records and D-Noy Muzik collaborate to create the compilation Live at the Pacha Club Ibiza (2007) and similar records were created following shows in Pacha Clubs all over the world.

In 2018 Dan celebrated 30 years of career, and his desire to introduce his Canadian and Quebec audiences to new musical genres and sounds has not waned at all. His track There With You featuring Margau and Garrett Raff was one of the biggest summer hits in 2018.

With more than 1.4 million albums sold throughout his career, Dan is one of the rare Quebec artists having been awarded a diamond disc for having achieved over a million albums sold. He still gives over 100 shows a year at various venues all over the world.
